Do you have insurance and back-up equipment?
Absolutely. I carry full professional liability and equipment insurance. I also bring two camera bodies to every wedding and multiple lenses/flashes. Your memories are too important to risk on a hardware failure.
How far in advance should we book you?
I typically book 12–18 months in advance. If your date is during peak wedding season, I recommend reaching out as soon as your venue is secured.
How would you describe your photography style?
Our photography style is timeless, emotional, and natural. We focus on capturing authentic moments—the smiles, laughter, and little details that tell the story of your wedding day—while keeping a chic, understated aesthetic full of life and feeling.
How do you handle difficult lighting or bad weather?
Rain or shine, we will get beautiful photos. I am experienced in low-light environments (like candlelit receptions) and carry professional lighting equipment. If it rains, we can find indoor alternatives at your venue or use the weather to our advantage for some creative, romantic "umbrella" shots!
Can we order albums or prints directly through you?
Yes! Your online gallery will be linked to a professional-grade print lab. You, your friends, and your family can easily order heirloom-quality albums, framed prints, and canvases directly from the gallery, delivered straight to your door.
Where are you based and do you travel for shoots?
We’re based in Gainesville, Florida, and proudly serve Central and North Florida. We love capturing weddings throughout the region and are happy to travel to your special location to make your day unforgettable.
What is the payment schedule?
To make things simple and stress-free, I require a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding, so we can focus entirely on your celebration when the day arrives!
Do you offer custom packages?
Yes! We offer custom wedding photography packages to fit your unique needs and budget. Whether you want a full-day coverage, an intimate elopement, or something in between, we’ll work with you to create the perfect package for your special day.
We are awkward in front of the camera—can you help?
90% of my couples say this! My style is about "guided interaction" rather than stiff posing. I’ll give you small prompts and movements to do so the photos feel natural and reflect your real chemistry, not a mannequin pose.
Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding shoots?
Yes! We offer engagement and pre-wedding shoots to capture your love story before the big day. These sessions are a fun way to celebrate your relationship, get comfortable in front of the camera, and create beautiful photos you can use for invitations, save-the-dates, or keepsakes.
What happens if you are unable to attend our wedding due to an emergency?
While I have never missed a wedding, I have a solid contingency plan. I am part of a professional network of high-end photographers. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I would secure a replacement with a similar style and skill level, and I would still handle all the post-processing and editing to ensure your gallery meets my brand standards.
How do you handle "unplugged" ceremonies?
I fully support unplugged ceremonies! I’m happy to work with your officiant to ensure guests keep their phones down so I can capture your faces (and theirs) without a sea of screens in the way.
Here is how we can ensure it works smoothly:
- The Announcement: I recommend having your officiant make a friendly announcement just before the ceremony starts.
- Signage: You can place a beautiful sign at the entrance to the ceremony to set the expectation early.
- The Compromise: Most couples go "unplugged" for the ceremony only. Once the reception starts and you are pronounced married, I encourage everyone to "plug back in," take selfies, and use your wedding hashtag!
- Peace of Mind: I remind your guests that you have hired a professional to document everything perfectly, so they can just relax and enjoy the day.
How many photos will we receive, and delivered?
Your wedding photos will be beautifully edited and delivered in a private online gallery, perfect for viewing, sharing with loved ones, and downloading anytime.
Do you provide a "sneak peek" after the wedding?
I know how excited you are to share your day! I provide a curated "sneak peek" gallery of 10–15 edited images within 48–72 hours of your wedding day so you can post them on social media and share them with family immediately.
Do we get the "RAW" or unedited files?
I do not provide RAW files. I believe that editing is half of the creative process that makes my work unique. You are hiring me for my specific vision and finished product, so I only deliver fully edited, high-resolution images that represent my professional brand.
Do we have the rights to print our photos?
You receive a Personal Use License. This means you can print, share, and post your photos wherever you like! I retain the copyright, which just means you can’t sell the photos to a magazine or use them for commercial advertising without my permission.
